The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) works in the state of Indiana just as fine as in the rest of the United States. There are no any large or regular reports of delays in the payments dates so, if you’re one of them, you could rest assured that your funds will be right on time, as expected.

In Indiana, there is no single date on which all SNAP payments are issued, but rather they are sent over a 10-day period each month. The deposit date of your food stamps varies depending on the first letter of the beneficiary’s last name.

Food stamps recipients in the state of Georgia are also waiting for your payments. In this state, the calculation for the payment date is different: it is distributed according to the last two digits of the SNAP case number.

The 60 to 69 group is still waiting to receive their payments, and they will have the funds on their EBT cards on Thursday, August 17. Then it’s time for the happy payday to those of the group 70 to 79, who will be hit on Saturday, August 19. The last two groups are those from 80 to 89, to whom the transfer will arrive on August 21, and those from 90 to 99 who will have the money available on August 23.

Remember that both in Georgia and in the rest of the states of the United States, it is illegal to exchange food stamps for cash, or to buy prohibited items such as tobacco, alcohol, or prescription drugs. The SNAP food program is designed to provide healthy and nutritious food to families in need.

Since October, the age range has been extended to 52 years, and from October 2024, it will be extended to 54 years old.

But, what is actually “work” for this new rule? There are several options that beneficiaries could comply to:
